Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of adsquare.uk (the "Platform"), operated by WestBridge Renovations Ltd (company number 16594482) ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Ads UK. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.

1. What Ads UK is

Ads UK is a free classifieds platform where members can post and browse ads for items, property, jobs, services and more. We are not a party to any transaction between members, we don't inspect or guarantee any item, service or job listed, and we're not responsible for the outcome of any transaction arranged through the Platform. Any agreement is strictly between the members involved.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Platform.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
• The information you provide must be accurate.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

4. Posting ads

• Posting an ad is currently free. We may introduce paid promoted-ad options in future; if we do, pricing will be shown clearly before you're charged.
• You must provide a valid means of contact (a phone number for most categories, or your account email for Jobs ads) so other members can reach you.
• You may upload up to 5 photos per ad. Photos and descriptions must accurately represent what you're advertising.
• You're solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of anything you list, and for vetting anyone you choose to transact with.
• We may remove any ad, or suspend any account, that breaches these terms or is reported and found to be inappropriate, fraudulent, or unlawful.

5. Contacting other members

Registered members can reveal another member's contact details on an ad, or message them through the Platform's built-in messaging. Contact details are only shown to logged-in, registered members - never to the general public.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information
• List anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited by law
• Use the Platform to send spam, malware, or unsolicited marketing
• Scrape, copy, or republish Platform content without permission
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members

7. Reporting and moderation

Members can report an ad or another member for review. We may investigate reports and take action including removing an ad, suspending an account, or both, at our discretion.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform's design, code, and branding belong to Ads UK. Content you submit (ad descriptions, photos, messages) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ads UK is not liable for: the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any item, service, or job listed by a member; disputes between members; or any loss arising from your use of the Platform, except where that loss is caused by our negligence or breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or abusive behaviour. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
